PREPARATION AND ACTION PLAN
1. Set up Project Committee
Committee Members:
Coordinator: PP Chua Eyu Bee
Chairman: PP Nik Yusof
Members: PP Jega, PP Yap & PP Chai
2. Agree with Rotary Foundation of Malaysia on the contents and costing of Disaster Relief Box (refer to attached proposed contents & costing, quotation + photos).
3. To immediately prepare 50 boxes with contents.
4. When flood occurs, to immediately dispatch and distribute DR boxes to flood victims at the district relief centers with the help of District Officers.
5. Payments for the supplies:-
a. Proposed Rotary Club of Kota Bharu makes payments to the suppliers.
b. Rotary Foundation of Malaysia to reimburse Rotary Club of Kota Bharu.
6. Budget:
50 DR Boxes @ RM210.30 per box = RM10,515.00
(should the need arise, RCKB will make further request to Rotary Foundation of Malaysia).
Other expenses, e.g. transportation will be borne by Rotary Club of Kota Bharu.
We shall be very pleased if the proposed budget, contents and method of payment to suppliers are approved by the Rotary Foundation of Malaysia.
I have personally met the District Officers of Kota Bharu and Tumpat and they promised to facilitate the distribution of DR Boxes to flood victims.
